The rebate for a dual-fuel heat pump is:

• $300 per ton (replacement system with existing fossil fuel backup
• $500 per ton (new or replacement system with new fossil fuel backup)
• Heat pump must have a minimum AHRI rating of 8.1 HSPF2 (click here for AHRI directory)
• Propane or natural gas furnace must be used as the backup heat source.
• Electric resistance and wood-burning systems do not qualify as a backup heat source for this rebate.
